- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 heaped tsp turmeric (optional)
Method:
- Add rice to a microwave rice cooker. Optionally, stir through the turmeric
- Add water
- Place in microwave on high for 5 minutes and then on 20% for 15 minutes
- Leave stand for a while and then fluff up with a fork before serving
